Deadline to request absentee ballots Monday

Voters in Canadian County who want absentee ballots mailed to them for the April 5 Mustang School and Yukon School Election should apply now, County Election Board secretary Wanda Armold said. Absentee ballots are available to any registered voter, provided they are eligible to vote in the election requested.

The Mustang girls soccer team jumped into its season last week with a matchup against rival Yukon. After a tough 80 minutes of action, it was the Lady Broncos who pulled out the 1-0 shutout over the Millerettes March 1 at Yukon High School.
